Our Favorite Spots to Watch The Fireworks (Local secrets!)

Breckenridge DeckYou cannot go wrong viewing the fireworks from any spot around town. Whether that is from your favorite deck or right from the center of Main Street. Here are a few spots you may not know about:

Boreas Pass:

From Main Street, head South to the intersection of Main Street and Boreas Pass Road. Turn left and go up the pass about 2 miles. You will see an overlook of the town on your left. This offers one of the best views of Breckenridge, including the incredible fireworks display. There is nothing quite like seeing the fireworks against the backdrop of the dramatic mountains and the ski runs.

Peak 9:

From Park Avenue, head South to Village Road up to Beaver Run Resort. If you have the appropriate vehicle, drive through the parking lot onto the dirt road that heads up the ski area. As you drive up, you will find numerous perfect vantage points in which to enjoy the fireworks. Many people choose to park in the lot and do a short hike up the mountain to their favorite view.
