The Imperial Challenge is the craziest race event you will ever see or participate in! It begins with a 6 mile bike ride from the Breckenridge Rec Center to the base of Peak 7 at the Breckenridge Ski Resort. Although most people use Skimo equipment, you may choose any method you would like to get to the top of the mountain from there. You do not have to be a professional athlete to compete – just set your own goals and have fun! More info here.

Easter Celebration: April 21, 2019

Breckenridge does Easter right! Join us for an Easter egg hunt on the mountain and an on mountain church service. More details will be announced via GoBreck.

Breck Plunge: April 21, 2019

Don’t miss one of the most iconic events in ski culture – the pond skim! Strap on the skis, get speed from above, and try to skim as far as you can across the pond. Ski towns across the world have always participated in this zany event, and Breck is no exception! This even will be accompanied by live music, food and drinks!

Extended Ski Season: April 21 – May 27, 2019

Breckenridge Ski Resort is extending this winter season, and future seasons, through Memorial Day!

This spring, Breckenridge Ski Resort plans to offer skiing and riding out of Peak 7, with access to primarily advanced- and expert-level terrain on Peak 8 in Imperial, Horseshoe and North Bowls, accessed by the Independence SuperChair, Imperial Express SuperChair and the TBar Lift while conditions allow.
