2. If you’re visiting in summer or early fall, explore the McCullough Gulch Trail. The 6.4-mile round-trip path offers dramatic views of Quandary Peak. This is a moderately difficult hike.
3. Anyone looking for a challenge will love hiking Quandary Peak. This Colorado 14er gains over 3,000 feet in elevation, but the panoramic views at the summit make it worth it. 
4. The Burro Trail is a wooded 6.2-mile round-trip option that connects to other routes, like Spruce Creek. This path is a great option for wildlife viewing and solitude.
5. For a family-friendly option, try the Sawmill Creek Trail near downtown Breckenridge. The 1.5-mile path features forest views and a scenic reservoir.
6. Another option for families is the Blue Lakes Trail, which can range from one to three miles depending on how far you go. Enjoy views of gorgeous alpine lakes below Quandry Peak on this short hike.
7. Get away from the crowds by trying the Hoosier Pass Loop, which is considered a moderately challenging route. The trail is known for wide-open views and wildflowers in the summer. You might even see a mountain goat!
