Top Breckenridge Breweries

While Colorado is best known for its abundance of outdoor recreation, they also take pride in the impressive variety of Breckenridge breweries. If you’re hoping to drink your way through Breckenridge, start with our favorite breweries.
Breckenridge Brewery and Pub
Breckenridge Brewery is the largest brewery in town. Opened in 1990, Breckenridge Brewery started as the third oldest craft brewery in the state. Today, it’s named the fifth largest brewery and produces around 70,000 barrels of their signature beer. Their original Breck Brew Pub is located in downtown Breckenridge and their second location is in Littleton, Colorado. We guarantee you’ll find a brew you enjoy since they range from easy session beers to hearty small-batch creations.
CB and Potts
Located in the heart of Breckenridge, CB and Potts has an extensive list of award-winning brews. Relax in their cozy, mountain atmosphere while enjoying their apps and beer. Their knowledgeable staff explains that similarly to wine, there are brews that pair well with their many appetizers. Recently, CB and Potts’s Udder Chaos took second place at the Great American Beer Festival for their Coffee Stout/Porter category. Their Big Horn Hefe also snagged second place in the South German-Style Hefeweizens category.
Broken Compass Brewing
Travel minutes outside of downtown Breckenridge and you’ll find Broken Compass Brewing Company. Not only do they offer 12 beers on tap and an impressive menu, but they also have several recurring activities such as Trivia Tuesdays and Acoustic Sundays. Don’t worry about having one beer too many, because the Free Ride will give you a free ride back to Alpine Meadows properties. For a ride, call 970-406-2011. Free rides run from noon until 8 pm.
